We PROMISE we did not put it in the box that way. We take a lot of pride in our product and have a dedicated team that tests packaging to make sure it has the best chance of getting to your door in the right number of pieces. If the carrier has a tough day and takes it out on your box, or more likely an accident happens between our door and yours, we will work hard to fix it. We want you to love your furniture as much as the picture that inspired you to buy it. Whether the damage is noticeable or not, it shouldn’t be there. Contact us and we’ll work with you to correct the issue. Please do NOT attempt to build the unit with the damaged piece. It may affect the stability and longevity of the furniture.
