Our commitment is to ensure that your furniture arrives to you free from damage and defect and we recommend carefully inspecting each part before assembly. If a blemish goes unnoticed until after the item is built, it may feel like you’re caught between a rock and a hard place. It is frustrating to think about dismantling something that took hours to build, and equally disheartening to look at the flaw every day. If you prefer a touch up to a replacement part, we can send you a furniture crayon. Although there are variations for use of this tool, the following are some general guidelines.
- Ensure that the affected area is clean and dry.
- Rub crayon generously over blemish. Don’t be afraid to color like a kindergartener. No need to stay within the lines. The wax should fill in any notches and protect the exposed wood product.
- Remove excess with a credit card or plastic scraper and buff with a soft cloth.
