Ameriwood began under the name Rose Patch and Label Company in 1915 making garment labels for clothing items. Rose Patch, later called Rospatch Corporation, was the producer of a wide range of products in turn: plastic packaging, stereo speaker casings, radio cabinets, defense electronics and even coffins. Our start in the furniture business began with parts in 1977 and we released our first product line in 1990. Since our own purchase by Dorel Corporation in 1998, we have steadily grown to be one of the leading manufacturers of ready to assemble furniture. We strive to provide a quality product at an affordable price and offer furniture lines as diverse as our customers. We specialize in creating products rich in design and comfort but making the most of small space living is at our core.
