Typically, where we build a piece of furniture is not where it will stay. Sometimes that means a move of only a few inches closer to the wall, and sometimes that’s across the room, the home, or the threshold! Regardless of the distance, take care to prepare your item for the move. Remove the drawers, if applicable, as well as any items sitting on your furniture. NEVER attempt to push, drag or shift the item, as this can cause damages. Instead, have a friend help to lift and carry your furniture to its new location. Once in position, check camlocks and screws before reinserting drawers or shelves.
