No. The weight capacity of the top panel of a dresser may technically be greater than that of your television, but supporting a TV requires special testing. Dressers are not designed for this and more than likely would not pass. Per the warning label found in the top drawer and the weight limits page of the assembly instructions, users are specifically instructed not to place a TV or any other heavy object on top.
This is true for all dressers and not just those intended for children's use. Furthermore, new testing standards will not change that.
